Are you a passionate Trade/ Customer Marketing professional, immediately or soon to be available and keen to use your knowledge and skill in a fun and booming category in this maternity cover role?
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic trade marketer, with some good knowledge in event management for this fantastic mat cover role.
As interim trade marketing manager, you will lead the development and execution of a marketing trade plan, including the event calendar and its brands to our client’s retail, charity and specialist customers.
Your aim is to ensure maximum visibility for a portfolio of brands and their key messages within the retail channels including, national wholesalers and specialist channels, using POS, publications, advertising and digital campaigns.
You will ensure the sales teams have access to all required marketing assets. And collaborate with the wider marketing team on a number of annual events. You will:
- Plan, organise and budget manage trade and outdoor events to ensure all required materials, accommodation and staff are in place.
- Set clear objectives and targets for each event, with metrics on how these can be measured such as data capture.
- Gather feedback and data after an event to evaluate and inform future event decisions and other events.
Who is our client looking for?
You will have strong experience in event management and/ or trade marketing and if that experience is in FMCG/ Retail, or another B2C industry, that would be even better!
You will be a strong multitasker, with great prioritisation and time management skills, along with a natural ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels and disciplines.
If you are doing a similar role successfully, you will have robust project and budget management skills, which are essential for this role too, along with the ability to problem solve during an event (as they invariably arise!). If you have a ‘roll-your-sleeves-up’ mindset and a hunger to provide a great customer experience, then you will love this role.
Our client is in Yorkshire and have hybrid working model, so you’d need to be based in the Leeds, York, Wakefield, Doncaster, Harrogate, Bradford area, or anywhere in between!
